Are you looking to enhance your leadership skills? Do you want to become more efficient in your daily life or to improve your relationships with work colleagues? Our coaching programme can help.
‘Coaching seemed so straightforward that I regret not having had life coaching earlier…’
Coaching is a set of conversations that empowers people to be effective in their lives. Just as tennis players and golfers benefit from coaching, so do we. Coaching helps us to look at ourselves and gets us to focus on what we want out of our lives. It looks at what our goals are; where we want to be; what is important to us.
What
does it focus on?It can focus on work and productivity
Coaching involves initial face-to-face conversations with a person skilled in helping you to create powerful answers and openings for action in whatever area of your life or issue you choose to work on. You will spend time during each conversation setting specific business or personal goals and are supported by your coach in achieving these. In particular our initial interviews will be concerned with building rapport and establishing goals for the coaching. At Constellation we also support our face-to-face sessions with telephone conversations at agreed points - these can be short and to the point and will keep you on track to achieving your goals.
Many managers in organisations use coaching to give themselves clear objectives and to be effective in their lives. It inevitably leads to more powerful communication and a greater sense of leadership. Through coaching sessions, people develop a rigorous way of thinking and analysing problems. Coaching also releases energy and moves people beyond their comfort zones into new possibilities. That energy means things get done - and you can take people with you. Results are often evident within a month as individuals take on challenges, start to make a difference in their lives, and influence those around them.

‘I am confident I can achieve targets that seemed too ambitious only a short time ago…’
More specific outcomes are dependent on individual issues or concerns as they arise within the coaching session. For instance an issue might be about decision-making or management strategy, or dealing with perfectionism. It depends on the individual. The strength of a coaching programme is that it can work with those specific individual issues.
‘Coaching helped me gain promotion and achieve much more than I realised was possible….’
As an example you could find yourself running meetings in a different way.
A manager we worked with described the response from his team in this way – they appreciated the way he now ran his meetings; they were more effective; less time was wasted on diversions and more focused on the business at hand; lengthy stories were reduced to a minimum; when the old chestnuts arose between certain members they were now handled with finesse; team members now valued the time spent together.
‘…coaching has given me confidence in my own thinking and the courage to give it voice…’
‘coaching has given me the tools to achieve the things I want to do’
‘for the first time…..I feel I know what
I want out of life’
